Job summary

Rehlko is seeking a skilled mechanical/electrical engineer to service and maintain generators across regions. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and travel to customer sites using a company van in a mobile engineering role.

The role requires time-served experience or NVQ Level 3, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and good communication with customers. A safety-focused, proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Time-served Mechanical/Electrical Engineer or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
• Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical components (engines/alternators).
• Experience in a mobile engineering role is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive service and maintenance of generators.
• Diagnose faults and complete breakdown repairs.
• Travel to customer sites using a company van.
• Coordinate with Coordinators for efficient planning.
• Record all work in the management system.
• Participate in regional on-call rota (approx. 1 in 6).
• Adhere to H&S, environmental and quality standards.
