Job summary

PATH Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover East Anglia, focusing on diesel generator maintenance and repair. The role involves travelling to customer sites, conducting planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs, and delivering high standards of service across diverse environments.

You will work independently, often on-call, using your mechanical or electrical expertise and a full UK driving licence to ensure customer satisfaction and reliability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on diesel-powered equipment or standby power systems.
• Recognised Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualification.
• Full UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Travel across East Anglia carrying out planned maintenance, inspections, fault diagnosis and repairs on standby power equipment.
• Work independently to provide professional, reliable service and maintain high engineering standards.
• Support wider engineering projects and respond to reactive breakdowns as required.
