Job description

Position: Mobile Gas Engineer. Location: Kent and South London. Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. We are seeking a Mobile Gas Engineer for a global FM provider covering Kent and South London. As a Mobile Gas Engineer your role will provide commercial gas, heating, combustion and building services engineering maintenance to a variety of client properties throughout the designated region. This will include commercial gas and HVAC bias fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsibility for commercial combustion, heating and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded.
• Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related tasks.
• To provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
• Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas.
• To undertake new installations, major and minor repair works to clients heating systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault finding.
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. Issue of Permits to Work.
• Ensure that all heating equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria.
• Ensure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards.
• To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial environments providing gas, combustion and heating related building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance and installation.
• Core Safety: COCN1
• Domestic Core Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1, ICAE1
• Commercial Gas Qualifications: TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
• City & Guilds / NVQ level 2/3 in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical or related engineering discipline
• Gas Safe Registered
• IPAF / PASMA
• Full UK Driving License.
