Job summary
Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Forklift Engineer to join our field service team in Devizes. You will service, repair and commission material handling equipment at customer sites, ensuring high-quality and reliable service.
Ideal candidates have forklift engineering or related experience, strong electrical knowledge and a full UK driving licence. Training will be provided; overtime opportunities and a company van are included.
Qualifications
- Current forklift/plant/HGV experience essential.
- Experience with diagnostic equipment desirable.
- Strong electrical knowledge required.
- Able to work independently and manage workload.
- Professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude.
- City & Guilds / NVQ qualification desirable.
- Full UK driving licence required.
Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain and service materials handling equipment.
- Carry out LOLER inspections for compliance.
- Diagnose faults and repair or replace components.
- Order parts using a PDA and report progress to the Service Co-ordinator.
- Build strong relationships with customers and follow team procedures.
- Attend training courses and pursue continuous professional development.
- Ensure health and safety policies are followed at all times.
