Responsibilities
  • To undertake Health and Safety compliance and general building / site inspections and promote a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring that contractors provide the relevant information and operate to the relevant safe systems of work for all reactive, planned and ad hoc quoted works.
  • Prepare, monitor and reconcile FM budgets.
  • Ensure all quoted works are delivered in accordance with the contract and are fit for purpose and provide value for money.
  • Undertaking (selective) supplier quality audits at a frequency determined by the Account Manager.
  • Act as a "Supplier Champion" taking ownership of specific portfolio wide Supply chain contracts to ensure contract performance is achieved, as required.
  • Act as site contact for contractors as required.
  • Work closely with the Account Manager to ensure contracts are renewed / tendered in a timely manner to ensure cost effective coverage across the portfolio for all service lines.
  • Liaise with the Avison Young Service Desk in the management and execution of daily tasks associated with fault reporting, job progress updates, job completion, reporting etc.
  • Liaise with the Avison Young Service Desk to provide updates and feedback on weekly maintenance, and other reports for your client sites.
  • Specify, cost and manage quoted works and small project works in line with CDM 15. Ensure all RAMS are received are suitable and sufficient and all permits in place before any works commence.
  • Identify and recommend any improved methods of working practices, which may enhance quality and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with Client and Avison Young's financial controls at all times, adhering to relevant expenditure authorisation / approval processes and levels.
  • Promote good relationships with client contacts and site personnel and project a professional image of Avison Young.
  • Work proactively to ensure that the requisite standards for all contracts procured in the management and delivery of FM services are delivered to an appropriate standard that meets client expectations.
  • Monitor monthly repairs and maintenance works and budget expenditure for your client sites.
  • Assist in the development of any maintenance strategy and best practice initiatives.
  • Provide the interface between the client and internal and external service providers.
  • To ensure availability on an ad‑hoc basis to attend meetings at the discretion of the Account Manager.
Qualifications
  • 5 years working experience in a Facilities Management role.
  • Experience in use of CAFM systems.
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel, CAFM and other reporting tools.
  • Degree level education or equivalent.
  • IOSH Qualification.
