Plantforce is expanding its Mobile Fitter team across the Midlands and surrounding areas. The role covers servicing and maintaining a wide range of construction and earthmoving equipment, with travel across Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and nearby areas.

You will work within the Major Projects division, handling routine services, preventative maintenance and parts installation, collaborating with the larger Plantforce team and digital division on GPS and related tech.

Formación

• NVQ Level 2/3 Construction Plant or Machinery Maintenance is required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Right to work in the UK is required.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out routine servicing of construction equipment in line with manufacturer schedules.
• Monitor lubricants and fluids and replenish as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and fault reporting.
• Clean, inspect and prepare plant for transfer or redeployment.
• Fit replacement parts and support larger maintenance tasks with the team.
• Assist with installation of GPS systems and other innovations as required.

Job Purpose:

This position provides an exciting opportunity to join our Major Projects division, servicing and maintaining a vast range of construction and earthmoving equipment.

The role will involve supporting the wider Plantforce major projects team by completing schedule / routine services on a range of excavators, ADT’s, Dozers, Telehandlers, Compaction & Agricultural equipment, as well as preventive maintenance and consumable fitting and replacement.

The territory to be covered includes Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and nearby surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities:

• The routine servicing of construction equipment in line with manufacturers schedule and specification.
• Regular Lubricant and fluid monitoring and replenishment.
• Preventative maintenance / monitoring.
• Fault reporting.
• Cleaning, inspecting and preparing plant for transfer or redeployment
• Fitting replacement parts.
• Working alongside other team members on larger maintenance / repair tasks.
• Together with the above, there will be an opportunity to work with the Plantforce digital division in assisting installation of GPS Systems, human form recognition cameras, height and slew restrictors and any other innovations as the role develops. Product support and training will be provided as required.

Essential Requirements and qualifications:

• Right to work in the UK
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 Construction Plant or Machinery Maintenance
• Full Driving Licence
