Job summary

A global real estate services firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mobile Fire Door Approved Person to manage both reactive and planned preventative maintenance across commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have a trade background, relevant qualifications, and a strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations. This role requires prior supervisory experience and excellent communication skills, along with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Trade background with recognized qualification or completed apprenticeship.
• Extensive knowledge of building fabric services and Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive maintenance repairs and PPM across various client contracts.
• Quality assure inspection documentation and sign off remedial/installation works.
• Complete on-site Method Statements and Risk Assessments.

Skills

Proficiency with smartphones, PDAs, laptops, and IT systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends

Self-motivated with supervisory capabilities

Education

Level 3 City & Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent
