Are you curious about the world of poultry farming? Here's your chance to step into a hands-on role where no two days are the same - and where you'll play a key part in producing high-quality hatching eggs.

We're working with a well-established food production business that is expanding its farming support team. They're looking for reliable, practical individuals to assist farms during busy, labour-intensive periods and help drive the highest standards of animal welfare and productivity.

The Role

As a Breeder Service Team Member, you'll work closely with farm teams on a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Supporting bird vaccination and transfers to laying farms
  • Assisting with chick placement, bird grading and weighing
  • Helping with flock transshipment
  • Egg collecting and sampling
  • General hands-on support across farming operations

This is a varied, active position where you'll develop specialist skills in poultry husbandry and gain valuable experience within a leading agricultural environment.

What We're Looking For
  • Someone comfortable working independently and using their initiative
  • A genuine interest in farming and animal welfare
  • A willingness to learn new skills and get involved in practical, hands-on tasks
  • A full UK driving licence (a shared work vehicle is provided)
Hours & Benefits
  • 5-day rota across 7 days, with occasional 6th day based on business needs
  • 40 hours per week
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x
