Job description
The Company

My client is one of a major privately-owned Built environment construction, development and property maintenance company in the UK.

They provide, Mechanical & Electrical, Fabric, Air conditioning and Combustion, maintenance and installations to commercial & retail environments.

The Role

You will work Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. Working on a handful of commercial sites in SE postcodes.

Responsibilities
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Door maintenance and repair
  • Tiling patch repairs, wall and floor
  • Temporary repairs to flooring carpets, lino and screeds
  • Suspended ceiling repairs
  • Shelving racking
  • Painting and decorating
  • Lock changes/repairs
  • External repairs i.e. patch brickwork, paviers
  • Provide detailed and accurate reports for any remedial works required whilst attending site
  • Comply with company QA and Departmental procedures
  • Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner
  • Assist in the preparation of emergency and contingency plans
  • Ensure accurate records appertaining to all planned preventative maintenance and the emergency repairs completed
  • Oversee all site activities, both maintenance and project specific and ensure all safety aspects are managed and monitored in accordance with site procedures and requirements
  • Perform all duties in line with current health and safety legislation and company policy with relevance to safe working practices and the storage of chemicals
Requirements
