Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an adaptable Electrician to maintain health service premises across its estate. You will install, test, commission, maintain, service and repair electrical and electronic systems and related mechanical equipment.

The role requires mobility across sites, the ability to work independently or in a team, and a commitment to safety and ongoing training. The Trust offers flexible working options and extensive staff benefits.

Responsibilities

• Work as an individual and act on own initiative as well as part of the trade team and participate in cross-trade working as and when required.
• Must prioritise own work load on a day to day basis and ensuring tasks are carried out in an affective order, considering both urgency and location.
• To use all workshop machinery to its fullest potential.
• Must keep all Trust issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in good condition and wear when necessary
• Must be willing to work as a mobile operative and travel to all sites across the estate as and when required.
