Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant, equipment, and building services. You will identify risks, update drawings, and implement preventative maintenance while liaising with the client on machinery requests.

Role requires fault finding on various machinery, completing safety documentation, and working on 3-phase systems up to 440V. Overtime, including nights/weekends, may be required.

Qualifications

  • A recognised or time-served apprenticeship.
  • Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition or equivalent.
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic experience desirable.
  • Ability to supervise contractors and write permits.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant, equipment and building services.
  • Identify and manage risks; update drawings; implement preventative maintenance.
  • Fault finding on machinery; liaise with client on maintenance requests.
  • Complete documentation per rules and legislation.
  • Work overtime, including nights and weekends, as required.
  • Support Health & Safety; deputise the Shift Leader when needed.

We are recruiting a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team.The successful candidate will perform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance to both Plant, Equipment and Building Services.Role Summary:Identify and manage the risks to the client through the equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, improving performance of machinery, improving and implementing the preventative maintenance programUsing new equipment and technologies to maintain a working production environment liaising with the client on any requests for certain machinery PPM'sFault finding on all types of MachinerySupport others in the department in relation to Health and SafetyProvide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the Maintenance Department working on Heavy Industrial Machines and Overhead CranesWrite and follow Risk Assessments and be available to question any issues which arise from them safely and accuratelyCompletion of the required documentation as specified with the requirements of all rules and legislationWork on Three Phase Systems with Voltages up to 440VWorking on Motors, Gearboxes, Valves encompassing Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical SystemsUse Mobile Devices to accurately project and complete any works from the CAFM Maintenance SystemUse of emailing / calendars to plan your daily work requirements so that all tasks are completed effortlessly and efficiently.Liaise with onsite Site Services to manage any Building Services related issues, responding confidently and accurately as requiredTo be the responsible person when required for the department and deputise the Shift Leader during annual leave or sicknessTo work overtime as and when the business requires, this may include nights and weekends to which notice may not always be givenPerform adhoc duties as and when requiredExperience Required:A, Recognised or Time ServedApprenticeshipStrong proven experience in manufacturing maintenanceElectrical Competences / Qualifications to a minimum or equivalent to City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 17th EditionMechanical Competences / Qualifications to an acceptable standard to City and Guild's MechanicalGood, multi skilled abilityExperience working on 3 phase motors, drives and invertersHydraulic / Pneumatic ExperienceAbility to fault findPLC Diagnostics / Repair CompetenciesNVQ Qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and MechanicalAbility to supervise contractorsAble to write Risk and Method StatementsAble to understand and write PermitsDesirableWorking at Height QualificationIPAFAP QualificationsExperience of Heavy Engineering #J-18808-Ljbffr
