Overview

Position: Mobile Engineer - Air Conditioning/Electrical

Location/Region: Southampton

Salary Range: £42,000 - £46,000

RGsetsquare recruitment is working with FM Companies who are responsible for managing a mixture of reactive and planned maintenance contracts across UK.

Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for AC, electrical and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Inspect, repair, modify equipment including air conditioning compressors, chillers, electrical components and controls
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of equipment as above and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Install and calibrate systems; install copper tubing and repair pipes and tubing as necessary; test joints and insulate pipes of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
  • Install, rebuild, replace, or repair fans, motors, thermostats, fuses, filters, bearings, valves, controls, gaskets and other equipment, as necessary.
Qualifications
  • City and Guilds 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants or CITB J11 Equivalent
  • NVQ 2/3 or City & Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration and AC Systems OR
  • NVQ2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating and Ventilation OR
  • NVQ2/3 or City & Guilds in Heating and Ventilation Service & Maintenance
  • 18th edition
