Job summary

Sovereign Network Group is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our compliance services team covering Newbury, Thatcham, Reading, North Hants, Basingstoke & Surrey areas. The role involves routine testing of electrical services in customers' homes, with travel and a provided van.

You will hold NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), 18th Edition, City & Guild 2391, a full driving licence, and be prepared for overtime. A Basic DBS check is required and a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within the residential/housing sector.
• Must hold NVQ level 3 (or equivalent), 18th Edition BS7671 and City & Guild 2391.
• Knowledge of IEE wiring regulations and Health and Safety at Work regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine testing of electrical services equipment in customers' homes.
• Undergo responsive repairs and works within planned teams according to work schedules.
• Estimate, requisition and acquire materials and spares for repairs.
• Record and report status and condition of electrical services equipment.
