Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited is seeking a qualified Electrician for a mobile role in Manchester, delivering reactive and planned maintenance to occupied social housing properties.

You will travel to domestic housing association sites, carry out electrical repairs, inspections, and minor works, with a company van and fuel card provided; 40 hours per week, 8am–5pm, with potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent (Essential)
• 18th edition (Essential)
• 2391 (Essential)
• ECS Gold Card or working towards (Desired)
• Full UK Driving License
• Experience in a similar role
• Good Communication skills
• 2+ years experience with Social Housing contractors or local authorities on domestic repairs

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance to occupied social housing properties in Manchester.
• Travel to domestic housing association properties for preventative and remedial work.
• Perform tasks including immersion heaters, fans, showers, lighting, and minor electrical certificates.
• Complete reports via PDA and assist with testing and inspections.
