Job summary

A leading electrical services provider is seeking a Mobile Electrical Service Engineer based in Greater London. The role involves operating MEP systems, ensuring vendor quality, and maintaining site standards. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years in building services and relevant electrical qualifications. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential. This position operates Monday to Friday during core hours and requires proactive problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

  • Ability to achieve 18th Edition through additional training if you have 17th Edition.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all MEP systems on site competently.
  • Ensure quality of work from Specialist Vendors.
  • Participate in Health and Safety compliance activities.
  • Communicate with supply chain for M&E components.
  • Take ownership of site and maintain required standards.
  • Complete eLogbook PPM/Reactive tasks efficiently.

Job description
Mobile Electrical Service Engineer

Location: Greater London & Surrounding Areas - Outskirts of M25

Core Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm

Main Duties & Responsibilities :
  • Operate all MEP systems on site in a competent, and confident manner (including MV/LV Electrical isolations/operations). Making recommendations for improvement and providing concise technical reports when required.
  • Ensure that Specialist Vendors service visits are completed efficiently, and quality of work has been inspected and recommendations are communicated to the Integral Supervisor.
  • Actively participate and complete Health and Safety compliance activities, such as Hazard/Near Miss Reporting and regular attendance/completion of scheduled Toolbox Talks.
  • Liaise with the supply chain when ordering M&E components for remedial/corrective works.
  • Take ownership of site (including all plant rooms) under INTEGRAL control, ensuring they are brought up to and maintained to the required show site standards.
  • Efficient and effective completion of eLogbooks PPM/Reactive tasks that have been allocated, ensuring that tasks have been acknowledged and completed within SLA.
Essential Qualifications & Experience :
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Building Services Environments.
  • Electrical Engineering apprenticeship/NVQ/C&G or similar.
  • C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or exceeds.
  • 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation (Ability to attain 18th Edition through additional training if you have 17th Edition).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
  • Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.
  • Have good IT skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints.
