Qualifications

  • Must hold 18th Edition certification and City & Guilds Electrical qualification level 3.
  • Valid driving license is required.
  • Experience in electrical maintenance is preferred.

Job description

Job Description Equans is looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team covering Reading and Bristol. This is a permanent full-time role, working 40 hours per week. There is also an on-call rota and overtime is available. On offer is a competitive salary, a company vehicle and benefits package.

What will you deliver?
  • Assist in delivering those aspects of the Company Performance Contract as they relate to the site, including satisfying all the requirements of the Company and the contract with the Customer, in line with existing procedures
  • Fulfilling site health, safety and environmental, quality and customer service targets
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of existing plant and equipment and diagnosing faults as required
  • Produce Annual Electrical maintenance reports inclusive of any costed remedials
  • Report all incidents and accidents, including near misses to the Contracts Manager
  • Deliver all Test and Inspection certification to agreed timescales
  • Produce quotations relating to the remedial works detailed within periodic reports
  • Ensure Calibration of Electrical meters are always maintained ensuring compliance
  • Attend site in response to breakdowns or failures of the equipment outside of normal working hours (call outs)
