Job summary

Boots Opticians seeks a Mobile Dispensing Optician to provide clinical support across stores in the region. You will work with a Mobile Optometrist to create a seamless patient journey from chair to dispense, while delivering high-quality care and mentoring colleagues.

You will travel between stores as needed, uphold Boots policies, and contribute to a flexible, patient‑focused healthcare experience. This role emphasizes leadership, clinical excellence and ongoing CET training.

Qualifications

• GOC registration is required.
• Optical experience and expertise.
• Strong relationship-building with store leaders, peers, customers and external professionals.
• High clinical standards and patient-centred care.
• Commitment to the Healthcare Ambition and CET training.
• Willing and able to travel to different stores in the region.

Responsibilities

• Role model and lead exceptional care, guiding patients to appropriate optical and healthcare products.
• Supervise and mentor dispensing opticians and students.
• Work with Boots Healthcare teams for a holistic, one-health approach.
• Support efficient daily operations and ensure legal and safe dispensing.
