Job summary

Central Florida Health Care, Inc. seeks a Dentist to provide out-patient primary care dentistry in a Dental Mobile Unit, delivering preventive and acute care per established standards.

You will coordinate with the Director of Clinical Dentistry, complete required paperwork, and participate in community outreach while maintaining comprehensive patient records and compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry.
• Licensed to practice Dentistry in Florida.
• Insurability (malpractice).
• Community service orientation.
• Current valid BLSC certification.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with CFHC’s program philosophies, goals, and objectives; comply with policies and procedures.
• Complete all required paperwork on time (payroll sheets, encounter tickets, evaluations, progress notes).
• Understand and implement CFHC’s Exposure Control Plan; use universal precautions in the clinical setting.
• Participate in staff outreach and off-site health care programs as requested by leadership; represent CFHC in the community.
• Maintain neat patient records with timely SOAP notes and current problem and medication lists.
• Review x-rays, document results, and follow up when indicated.
• Arrange referrals for dental services not available at CFHC; accept referrals from CFHC providers.
• Assist in denture, bridge, appliance fabrication or repair; maintain professional appearance at all times.
• Perform surgical procedures using sterile techniques and CDC guidelines as directed.
