Qualifications

• Valid CPCS Blue Card with Mobile Crane Operator authorisation.
• Full UK Driving Licence and HGV Class C Licence.
• Experience operating mobile cranes on site.
• Knowledge of wind effects on crane and load.
• Strong knowledge of road traffic regulations.

Responsibilities

• Work to manufacturer’s instructions at all times.
• Adhere to road traffic regulations.
• Ensure PPE is worn at all appropriate times.
• Operate safely with outriggers on level ground and monitor ratings.
• Set and check the rated capacity limiter and indicator.
• Liaise with Site Manager on arrival and report unsafe conditions.
• Avoid pressures to carry out unsafe operations.
• Maintain crane documentation and training on models.
