Job summary

Plant and Equipment Hire Business is seeking a Mobile Compliance Technician to cover Slough and surrounding areas. You will perform inspections, maintenance checks and ensure compliance with LOler/PUWER and safety standards on a range of plant equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant hire, construction equipment or mechanical maintenance.
• Familiarity with inspections, compliance checks or preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of LOLER and PUWER requirements is advantageous.
• Strong record-keeping and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections and compliance checks on plant and equipment.
• Complete equipment examinations following legislation and procedures.
• Identify defects and safety concerns and report issues.
• Maintain equipment in safe, compliant condition.
• Travel to customer sites and depots within Slough area.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintenance records.
