Overview

A leading 40 year established provider of service, maintenance and repair services to customers commercial vehicles, predominantly in the South of England, have a new career elevating opportunity for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their team in the Basingstoke / Hampshire area.

Working 8am-5.30pm paid door to door. This people focussed business really look after their own, they offer extra company incentives and bonus schemes as well as overtime, so you are supported in many ways and also financially well rewarded for your recognised efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide service, maintenance and repair on commercial vehicles and related equipment.
  • Operate on a variety of additional equipment, including dumpers, diggers, telehandlers, trailers, pallet trucks and pumps.
  • Utilise cutting edge tools and technology to deliver timely and exceptional service.
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical and electrical issues; use basic schematics knowledge.
  • Support a loyal customer base with immediately recognised brands and work with telecoms, gas, water and roadside vehicle repair organisations.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent; eligible for HGV, LCV, PSV Technician experience.
  • Experience on commercial vehicles is essential; PTO/Power Take Off experience is of high interest but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work on commercial vehicle attachments and systems; capable of diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues.
  • Backgrounds to consider include Agricultural Vehicle / Machinery / Construction Plant experience, or ex-Military (REME or Royal Engineers) with vehicle/plant experience.
  • Candidates must have their own tools (specialist tools will be issued by the Company).
