Job summary

Halfords Commercial Fleet Services (HCFS) is recruiting for a Commercial Tyre Technician to join the UK’s largest automotive service and repair business in Dartford. You will fit and repair tyres for cars, vans, trucks, and heavier machinery, serving customers at site and ensuring accurate job documentation.

The role offers an uncapped bonus scheme, with overtime and call-out rates, and a structured benefits package from the employer. Monday to Saturday work patterns apply.

Qualifications

• REACT Licence to work safely at the roadside.
• Possess a full, current driving licence.
• RTRT and/or LCTT licences or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Commercial Tyre Technician or similar.
• Willing and able to work with heavy machinery and equipment in an outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Fit/repair tyres including car, van, truck, agricultural, industrial and earthmover – roadside & in depot.
• Provide an exceptional customer service experience.
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and electronic job sheets.
