Job summary

Halfords Commercial Fleet Services (HCFS) is hiring a Commercial Vehicle Tyre Fitter to join its UK-wide network. You will service tyres across car, van, truck and more, with a mobile van, tools and PPE provided.

Expect a competitive £40,000 - £60,000 OTE package with an uncapped bonus scheme, overtime and call-out rates, plus enhanced staff discounts and benefits. A strong customer focus and valid licences are essential for success.

Qualifications

• REACT Licence to work safely at the roadside.
• Possess a full, current driving licence.
• RTRT and/or LCTT licences or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Commercial Tyre Technician or similar.
• Willing and able to work with heavy machinery and equipment in an outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Fit/repair tyres including car, van, truck, agricultural, industrial and earthmover – roadside & in depot
• Provide an exceptional customer service experience
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and electronic job sheets.

Skills

Full UK driving licence

RTRT/LCTT licences

1 year tyre technician experience
