Job summary

Halfords is recruiting a Commercial Tyre Technician for a mobile role. Base salary £36,500 with On Target Earnings up to £60,000, plus bonus, overtime and call-out pay. Typical hours are Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00, with Saturday 08:00–12:00.

You will service tyres on various vehicles and ensure paperwork is complete while delivering excellent customer service. This mobile position requires a driving licence and roadside safety qualifications, with heavy machinery work in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Commercial Tyre Technician or similar.
• REACT Licence to work safely at the roadside.
• Full, current driving licence.
• RTRT and/or LCTT licences or equivalent.
• Willing and able to work with heavy machinery and equipment in an outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Fit/repair tyres including car, van, truck, agricultural, industrial and earthmover - roadside & in depot
• Provide an exceptional customer service experience
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and electronic job sheets
