Job summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services is seeking a Mobile Commercial Gas Technician to perform planned, preventative and reactive gas maintenance in the Cambridge region. The role offers a Monday–Friday, 40-hour week with a company van and fuel card, plus travel time and on-call allowances.

Ideal candidates will have strong fault-finding skills, capable communication with clients, and valid Gas Safe qualification alongside ACS modules. DBS check or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Proactive fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication with clients about required actions.
• Current Gas Safe qualification and recognised ACS modules are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a planned, preventative and reactive maintenance service for gas-related equipment and plant.
• Provide mechanical service capabilities for gas booster sets, pressurisation units, pressure vessels and water heaters.
• Support a 24/7 service delivery team with potential to join out-of-hours rota.
