Job summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services is seeking a Mobile Commercial Gas Technician to perform scheduled, reactive and emergency gas maintenance across the Cambridge region. You will report to the Contracts Manager and operate a company van with a fuel card, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

The role requires Gas Safe registration, ACS Modules CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, ICAE1, ICPN1, TPCP1 and TPCP1A, plus an enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial gas maintenance.
• ACS Modules: CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, ICAE1, ICPN1, TPCP1 & TPCP1A.
• Gas Safe registration and enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on gas-related equipment and plant.
• Provide mechanical service capabilities for gas systems and components.
• Support a 24/7 quality service delivery team and potential on-call rota.

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? At NG Bailey Facilities Services, we're expanding our team to support exciting new contracts in the Cambridge area. We're looking for a dedicated Mobile Commercial Gas Technician to provide top-notch PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas and mechanical systems.

Your Role

• As a key player in our team, you will report directly to the Contracts Manager and be responsible for:
• Delivering a customer-focused planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance service for gas-related equipment and plant.
• Providing mechanical service capabilities for components such as gas booster sets, pressurisation units, pressure vessels, and water heaters.
• Supporting a quality service delivery team available 24/7, with a future opportunity to join the out-of-hours emergency rota.

What We're Looking For

• We seek an experienced Heating Technician with a strong background in Commercial Gas maintenance. You should be:
• Proactive in fault-finding and problem-solving.
• Personable and able to communicate effectively with clients about necessary actions to resolve issues.
• You will need to hold current qualifications, including:
• ACS Modules: CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, ICAE1, ICPN1, TPCP1 & TPCP1A
• Gas Safe Qualified
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)

Working Conditions

This position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. A valid UK Driving License is essential, as a company van will be provided for your convenience.
