NG Bailey Facilities Services is seeking a Mobile Commercial Gas Technician to carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas and mechanical systems across the Cambridge region.

The role offers a salary of £45k–£48k depending on experience, plus a company van with fuel card, paid travel time, flexible benefits and an on-call allowance. Monday–Friday with overtime opportunities and a UK driving license essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial gas maintenance.
• Current gas industry qualifications and DBS clearance.
• Able to fault-find and explain actions to clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance for gas equipment.
• Provide mechanical service for gas booster sets, pressurisation units, and water heaters.
• Support 24/7 service delivery and future on-call rota.

At NG Bailey Facilities Services, we're expanding our team to support exciting new contracts in the Cambridge area. We're looking for a dedicated Mobile Commercial Gas Technician to provide top-notch PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas and mechanical systems.

Your Role:

• As a key player in our team, you will report directly to the Contracts Manager and be responsible for:




• Delivering a customer-focused planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance service for gas-related equipment and plant.


• Providing mechanical service capabilities for components such as gas booster sets, pressurisation units, pressure vessels, and water heaters.


• Supporting a quality service delivery team available 24/7, with a future opportunity to join the out-of-hours emergency rota.

What We're Looking For:

• We seek an experienced Heating Technician with a strong background in Commercial Gas maintenance. You should be:




• Proactive in fault-finding and problem-solving.


• Personable and able to communicate effectively with clients about necessary actions to resolve issues.




• You will need to hold current qualifications, including:




• ACS Modules: CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, ICAE1, ICPN1, TPCP1 & TPCP1A


• Gas Safe Qualified


• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)

Working Conditions:

This position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. A valid UK Driving License is essential, as a company van will be provided for your convenience.
