Job summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services is seeking a Mobile Commercial Gas Technician to perform PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems in the Cambridge region. The role reports to the Contracts Manager and includes a company van, fuel card, paid travel time, and an on-call allowance.

Monday to Friday 40 hours, with overtime and a valid UK driving license. ACS modules and Gas Safe qualification are essential, with enhanced DBS and training opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe qualified as a minimum requirement.
• ACS modules listed above are required.
• DBS check or willingness to undergo one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance for gas-related equipment and plant.
• Provide mechanical service capabilities for gas booster sets, pressurisation units, pressure vessels and water heaters.
• Support a 24/7 service delivery team with potential to join the out-of-hours rota.

At NG Bailey Facilities Services, we're expanding our team to support exciting new contracts in the Cambridge area. We're looking for a dedicated Mobile Commercial Gas Technician to provide top-notch PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas and mechanical systems.

Your Role:

• As a key player in our team, you will report directly to the Contracts Manager and be responsible for:
• Delivering a customer-focused planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance service for gas-related equipment and plant.
• Providing mechanical service capabilities for components such as gas booster sets, pressurisation units, pressure vessels, and water heaters.
• Supporting a quality service delivery team available 24/7, with a future opportunity to join the out-of-hours emergency rota.

What We're Looking For:

• We seek an experienced Heating Technician with a strong background in Commercial Gas maintenance. You should be:
• Proactive in fault-finding and problem-solving.
• Personable and able to communicate effectively with clients about necessary actions to resolve issues.
• You will need to hold current qualifications, including:
• ACS Modules: CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, ICAE1, ICPN1, TPCP1 & TPCP1A
• Gas Safe Qualified
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)

Working Conditions:

This position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. A valid UK Driving License is essential, as a company van will be provided for your convenience.
