Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to deliver safe, compliant gas services across a nationwide customer portfolio. Initial emphasis on commercial gas experience with scope for broader multi-skilled maintenance.

You will manage on-site work, communicate with customers and ensure accurate documentation, certificates and close-out information are completed efficiently.

Qualifikationen

• Current Gas Safe registration and ACS qualifications relevant to the work.
• Experience servicing, maintaining and fault finding commercial gas appliances and plant; boilers, burners and similar equipment advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide, including overnight stays when needed.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise a mobile workload and keep accurate digital records.
• Good knowledge of RAMS, permit-to-work processes and safety reporting.
• Professional, dependable and customer-focused approach.

Aufgaben

• Undertake planned preventive maintenance, servicing, fault finding and commissioning on commercial gas plant.
• Attend reactive call-outs, diagnose faults and complete repairs within SLAs.
• Carry out work safely and in line with Gas Safe, legislation and company procedures.
• Prepare service reports, gas safety documentation, timesheets and materials records.
• Provide clear customer updates on arrival, progress and completion.
• Plan daily workload with scheduling helpdesk; highlight delays or safety concerns.
• Participate in on-call rota and respond to out-of-hours emergencies.
• Support multi-skilled maintenance tasks within competence boundaries.
• Maintain tools, vehicle, stock, PPE and test equipment.
• Identify additional remedial and lifecycle work for quotations.
• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors and contract managers to deliver service.
