Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Bristol is seeking a qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to perform daily planned preventative maintenance on gas appliances and respond to reactive and emergency faults.

You will diagnose faults, complete tasks within contractual timescales, and ensure accurate documentation while working with a range of plant equipment including boilers, pumps, and ventilation. A full UK driving licence and gas qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Extensive maintenance, testing and fault finding on gas boilers and heating plants.
• Able to complete tasks within contractual timescales.
• Experience with diverse plant equipment such as pumps and ventilation.
• Relevant gas qualifications including COCN1, CCN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A and CODNCO1.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day planned preventative maintenance on gas appliances.
• Carry out reactive and emergency tasks on gas appliances.
• Anticipate, diagnose and repair faults.
• Complete tasks within contractual timescales.
• Ensure documentation is completed accurately and correctly.
