Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Bromley is seeking a Mobile Environmental Caretaker to maintain high standards of cleanliness across communal areas, stairwells, entrances and bin stores. The role involves using cleaning equipment and reporting environmental issues, with duties across bulk waste collections and mobile operations.

You'll travel between sites on scheduled routes, conduct routine vehicle checks and ensure all vehicles and equipment remain clean, safe and operational.

Responsibilities

• Carry out deep cleaning of communal areas, stairwells, corridors, entrance halls, bin stores and other shared facilities.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment, machinery and materials to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Remove litter, graffiti, fly-tipping and other environmental nuisances where required.
• Monitor estate conditions and report repairs, health and safety concerns or environmental issues.
• Support estate improvement initiatives and maintain attractive communal environments.
• Undertake occasional bulk waste collections and clearance activities.
• Safely load, transport and dispose of waste in accordance with operational procedures.
• Assist with clearance of abandoned items and communal area obstructions.
• Ensure waste handling activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Share driving responsibilities for a 3.5-tonne bulk collection vehicle, panel van and trailer when required.
• Travel between multiple sites according to scheduled routes and daily work programmes.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Ensure all vehicles and equipment are kept clean, safe and operational.
