Job description

The main purpose of this role is to support on a daily basis the Branch Manager across the North east on a range of both Commercial and Retail sites, in the role you will be to required, to respond to our clients' various needs (such as requests for deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, additional labour), and also provide sickness and holiday cover when required. You will be working in various locations and therefore required to drive a company van to get to them, and your travel time is incorporated in your working hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support across a range of commercial and retail sites
  • Ensuring the client receives facilities services of the highest quality and support consistency and innovation
  • Support the Branch Manager with the day-to-day running of the contracts
  • Nurture client relationships in order developing them for long term partnerships
  • Recruit, induct and develop talented employees within the business portfolio and to manage performance through appraisals, training and performance management
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth and new business.
  • Fostering long term profitable relationships with the client and support the Branch Manager on negotiating client contracts to increase new business opportunities where possible
  • Provide direction and expertise to the operating area by promoting ABM strategies and best business practices to uphold the Company mission and values
  • Motivate and support a high performing team to achieve their objective
  • Carry out any reasonable request by the management team
Qualifications
  • Ability to work as part of a large regional and small site team
  • Well organised with attention to detail
  • Ability to work under own initiative with a proactive outlook
  • Ability to work unsupervised and take pride in your work
  • Able to follow instructions and a flexible approach
  • Experience in a similar multi-site support position
  • Proven experience of developing relationships
  • Broad commercial experience.

  • Experience working in a standards/compliance environment,
  • UK Driving License is essential
