Job summary

Samsic UK is recruiting a last-minute cover cleaner to deliver a professional facilities management service at Newquay Airport. The role involves commuting to different sites to cover sickness or absence, with a driving licence required.

You will work varied hours, with pay at £20 per hour, four-weekly. Cleaning duties include sanitary areas, bins, mopping, disinfecting touchpoints and restocking supplies. A driving licence (18+ months) is mandatory.

Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence is mandatory for a minimum of 18 months.
• Cleaning experience of at least 1 year is preferable.
• Flexibility to cover shifts and travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Clean sanitary areas, empty bins and mop floors.
• Disinfect touch points and restock soap/hand towels.
• Follow health and safety guidelines while on site.
• Cover shifts as needed to support operational requirements.

Samsic UK is recruiting for a last minute cover cleaner to provide a professional facilities management service based at Newquay Airport.

UK Driving Licence is mandatory for a minimum of 18 months, as this role involves commuting to different sites to cover cases of sickness or absence. If the driver has 6 points or more then approval from our insurance and additional excess may apply.

This position is to work as last minute covering staff, varied hours/days.. Timings will be confirmed to coincide with Operational requirements.

You will receive £20.00 per hour,paid four-weekly* unless specified otherwise.

Duties include but are not limited to, cleaning sanitary areas, emptying bins, mopping, disinfecting touch points, restocking soap/hand towels, and general cleaning.

About you

• You will be polite and have a passion for delivering a good service. You will be health and safety conscious when working within the workplace, considering the environment and presence of others around you.


• Flexibility to cover other shifts for when staff take annual leave is preferable.


• Training will be provided, however, cleaning experience of at least 1 year is preferable.


• Flexibility to cover shifts in early mornings or late evenings


• UK Driving License holder for a minimum of 18 months.
