Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Mobile Cleaner to join our Network Rail cleaning team in the North West. The role involves covering across multiple sites, carrying out daily and deep cleaning, and maintaining high standards.

The position requires flexibility to travel across sites in the North West, excellent communication, and a full UK driving licence. Hourly rate is £13.77, with a 37.5-hour week and permanent full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within mobile cleaning, specialist cleaning, or multi-site operations.
• Strong practical cleaning knowledge, including deep cleaning techniques and equipment use.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently across various locations.

Responsibilities

• Cover cleaning team absences including annual leave, sickness, and vacancies.
• Deliver and support routine, periodic, and specialist deep cleaning activities.
• Respond to client requests and service requirements in a professional and timely manner.
• Work alongside site teams to ensure cleaning specifications and quality standards are achieved.
• Assist with staff training, inductions.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures, COSHH requirements, and safe systems of work are followed at all times.
• Support stock management and distribution of cleaning consumables and uniforms.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and operational teams.
