Total Facilities Recruitment Limited is seeking a Mobile Cleaner to cover Peterborough, Lincoln and surrounding areas, travelling between sites and performing varied cleaning tasks. The role requires flexibility and independence to work across multiple locations.

Typical hours are 7–10 per day with occasional longer shifts and weekend work. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, with mileage expenses or a fuel card provided.

Mobile Cleaner

Location: Peterborough, Lincoln and surrounding areas

Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour

Hours: Flexible - typically 7-10 hours per day, with the potential for longer shifts

Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Mobile Cleaner to join our team, covering a variety of cleaning assignments across the Peterborough to Lincoln area and surrounding locations.

This is a varied, mobile role that would suit someone who enjoys working independently, travelling between different sites and is happy to be flexible with their working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out cleaning duties across a variety of commercial sites and locations.
• Providing holiday, sickness and ad-hoc cleaning cover as required.
• Travelling between different sites throughout the working day.
• Completing general commercial cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and within required timeframes.
• Maintaining a professional approach when representing the company at client sites.
• Adapting to changing schedules, locations and operational requirements.
• Potentially supporting additional cleaning responsibilities and projects as the role develops.

Working Hours & Flexibility

• Typical working days will be approximately 7-10 hours.
• Some days may be longer depending on travel and site requirements.
• Early starts may be required, potentially leaving home around 6:00-7:00am to avoid traffic.
• Start and finish times will vary depending on the locations being covered.
• Occasional weekend work may be required.
• A flexible approach to working hours and travel is essential.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally across a range of commercial environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own vehicle essential initially, with mileage expenses or a fuel card provided.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Peterborough, Lincoln and surrounding areas.
• Reliable, punctual and highly flexible.
• Able to work independently and manage workloads across multiple sites.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Someone who can adapt to changing requirements and work on their own initiative.
