Job description

As Mobile Catering Assistant for Sodexo covering Leamington Spa, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Stratford Upon Avon and surrounding areas, you will contribute to the smooth running of a fast‑paced food and beverage operation. You will showcase kitchen supplies, present them in an eye‑catching way, and ensure we offer the best service possible. You will not work unsociable hours and will receive public holidays off, including Christmas!

What you do
  • Prepare delicious meals for our school team and pupils.
  • Keep the kitchen and serving areas stocked, clean and hygienic at all times.
  • Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
  • Observe food handling and hygiene regulations.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure that all machines and equipment are operated correctly.
  • Always uphold the reputation of the company.

Package Description

Term‑time roles. Full‑time progression.

  • £12.21 per hour
  • 25 hours per week
  • Working pattern: Monday - Friday, 9am - 2pm
  • Term Time only (39‑week working contract paid over 52 weeks)
  • This position requires a driving licence and access to a vehicle

All travel expenses are reimbursed. Retention bonus for all attached mobile roles – £200 on successful completion of 12‑week probation, further £300 after 52 weeks of completed employment in the role.

Equated pay (spread‑over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months you work and none during school closures. This means you get paid equal amounts every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.
