Job summary

Support for Ordinary Living (SOL) in Scotland seeks a Peripatetic Care and Support Worker to empower people to live independently at home and in the community. You will work across teams to cover annual leave and absence, delivering high-quality, person-centred support in line with SOL’s mission, values, and outcomes-based plans.

• Experience delivering person-centred care.
• Commitment to ongoing training and SSSC registration.
• Able to work across teams and adapt schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, respectful care that promotes dignity and inclusion.
• Support people's tenancy and daily living tasks at home.
• Safeguard health, finances and property; respond to emergencies.
• Record information using SOL’s digital systems.
• Collaborate with families and professionals for coordinated support.
• Adapt visit schedules at short notice and maintain compliance with policies.
• Engage in coaching, reflection and ongoing professional development.
• Complete required training and SVQ; maintain SSSC registration.
