Our client are a well established M&E services firm, active in both the fit‑out and subsequent maintenance of commercial multi‑tenant office space. Privately owned, they predominantly operate in Central London and the West End – while mobile, the travel is restricted to these areas, and so will suit those living in inner London.
Working as part of the multi‑skilled M&E maintenance team, the successful candidate will provide planned and reactive services to electrical, mechanical and general building services plant across central London. The role will pay between 43–45,000 basic salary, and there are multiple avenues to earn further through a call‑out rota (1 in 5 weeks), occasional Overtime, and also the potential for an annual bonus should the maintenance division hit their targets.
Candidates must be fully qualified engineers ideally having served a full apprenticeship and with at least five years of experience within the commercial building services maintenance sector. This organisation are privately owned, offering more of a "family feel" than some of the larger national and multi‑national organisations operating within the commercial space, and looking to grow in 2024. They seek an individual with demonstrable history maintaining M&E systems within a corporate/commercial environment, with good people skills and presentation in order to act as an ambassador of the firm at all times. With the location of sites being centralised, this could offer the benefit of a varied workload and sites yet without being sent all across the M25/Home Counties area as many mobile roles can tend to end up.
