Job description
Mobile Building Services Engineer Based In London

Working hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm

Overall Role:

To ensure planned maintenance and reactive works are completed to a high standard, are technically compliant, and run to programme. Small project & reactive works as and when required

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure effective running of the planned maintenance activities:

    o Sufficient time is allocated to task frequencies

    o Resource sufficient equipment and materials in conjunction with the Purchasing and Contracts Manager/Supervisor

    o Systematic and logical sequence of works

    o Ensure job reports are submitted within the required timeframe, including all the evidence of work completed, and providing all relevant information for remedial repairs

    o Complete necessary log sheets and keep logbooks on site up to date

    o Carry out all work to a high standard

    o Ensure scheduled appointments are fulfilled on time

    o Day to day responsibility of managing the on–site stores, workshop, and plant rooms

    o Carry out reactive callouts and various building repairs on request

    Ensuring Compliance with Health and Safety regulations/risk assessments

    Liaise with clients/tenants to ensure expectations are managed and met

Key technical knowledge required:
  • Up–to–date qualifications.
  • Experience on Electrical and Mechanical M&E systems.
  • Experience in Building Services Maintenance
  • Various PPM duties such covered under the majority of building services practices.
  • Occasional out of hours/weekend working will be required.
  • IT literate – to update jobs and timesheets via tablet/phone.
