Overview

Mobile Vehicle Body Repair Technician required in Bristol and the surrounding region.

Up to £46,000 annual starting salary pending experience. Access to a performance-related bonus scheme providing potential annual earnings of £55,000+ per annum. 44.5-hour week Monday-Friday and Saturdays on a rota (1 in 2 half days and 1 in 4 full days). Fully equipped state-of-the-art company van and business fuel allowance. Our client, the UK's leading automotive accident and collision repair specialists, is looking to recruit a Mobile Vehicle Body Repair Technician to cover their network throughout the Bristol and surrounding region.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be supplied with a fully equipped state-of-the-art company van with the highest quality products and shall visit customers' vehicles at their workplaces, homes, and approved locations throughout Gloucester/Cheltenham and the surrounding region to carry out our repair work on their vehicles from bumper scuffs to chipped alloys and everything in between. This is carried out with an ethos of a "first-time fix", ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business. All work is supplied in advance by a central team, so no cold calling is required.

Responsibilities
  • Visit customers' vehicles at their workplaces, homes, and approved locations to carry out repair work (from bumper scuffs to chipped alloys and everything in between).
  • Operate with an ethos of a "first-time fix" to ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Work is supplied in advance by a central team; no cold calling is required.
Qualifications
  • Ideally experience as a Vehicle SMART Repair Technician (mobile or workshop-based) or transferable automotive accident repair experience with skills such as panel beating, re-spraying and prepping.
  • Proactive self-starter with a methodical and organized approach; able to work independently.
  • Strong customer service skills as you will be the face of the client’s business in the region.
  • UK driving licence with minimal points is essential.
