Job description

Our apps incorporate a wide range of interesting and technically challenging features that you will help to shape and improve:

• Rendering high resolution video in a performance critical environment.
• Working with large volumes of data in a performant way.
• Designing and implementing new UI components.
• Investigating and improving performance and scalability as new features are added.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality code with creativity and passion.
• Conceptualise, design and follow up on implementation of new functionality in close collaboration with product management, designers, and front‑end and back‑end developers.
• Improve current work in terms of processes and tools.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments within design and technology, and suggest short and long‑term solutions.
• Focus on mobile applications, but be open to using technologies across the stack, including web with Vue and TypeScript and Go tooling.
• Help develop native iOS and Android apps using Swift with SwiftUI and Kotlin with Compose (preferred, not required).
• Help create great user experiences, write solid maintainable code, and continuously improve existing code.

Qualifications

• Has experience working as a software developer.
• Has experience building mobile applications for iOS, Android, or both.
• Has experience with a modern mobile language such as Kotlin or Swift.
• Is passionate about writing high‑quality code.
• Can demonstrate outstanding technical ability.
• Wants to design and implement new functionality in close collaboration with colleagues.
• Wants to improve and optimise the application in terms of maintainability, performance and security.
• Loves staying up to date on technology and is happy to suggest short‑term and long‑term improvements.
• Can suggest new ideas to the team to help us improve the product.
• Is proficient in English and a good communicator.
