Job summary

Megarefill, London-based, is hiring for its Mobile Apps team to build Megaroam and Megaconnect, the eSIM apps used by travellers in 200+ countries. The role is fully remote with flexible hours across time zones, and you’ll ship features from idea to release on iOS and Android.

You’ll work with React Native/TypeScript or native Swift/Kotlin, integrate payments and eSIM provisioning, and help improve performance, reliability and conversion. Salary is competitive in USD with yearly reviews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building and shipping consumer mobile apps.
• Strong React Native and TypeScript skills, or native iOS/Android experience.
• Experience with REST APIs and in-app payments.

Responsibilities

• Build features for Megaroam and Megaconnect from plan search to checkout and eSIM installation.
• Integrate payments, wallet, referrals and eSIM provisioning APIs with backend teams.
• Keep apps fast and stable; monitor crash rates and app performance.
• Collaborate with design for new flows and A/B tests to improve conversions.

Megarefill is a digital marketplace for gift cards, mobile top-ups and travel eSIMs. Since 2023 we have been building, from London, the simplest way to buy digital products online: customers in 190+ countries pay by card, Apple Pay or more than 20 cryptocurrencies and get their code, recharge or eSIM in seconds.

We also build our own mobile apps: Megaroam, a travel eSIM app for 200+ countries, and Megaconnect, which gives people a real UK +44 phone number on an eSIM.

About your team

You will join the Mobile Apps team, which owns Megaroam and Megaconnect from idea to release. The team brings together mobile developers, a product designer and a product manager, working closely with the backend team that runs our eSIM, payments and wallet APIs.

Both apps are live on iOS and Android and growing quickly. We release often, measure everything and care a lot about how fast and simple buying an eSIM feels.
