Job summary

Interaction Technical is partnering with a long-established agricultural and groundcare machinery supplier to recruit a Mobile Service Engineer for the Retford area. You will service, diagnose, repair and maintain a range of agricultural equipment, ensuring high uptime and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
• Experience working on engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Engineering qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship or equivalent are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair agricultural machinery including tractors, combines, balers, telehandlers.
• Attend customer sites to diagnose and resolve breakdowns.
• Carry out mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers.
• Work independently in the field while liaising with the service team.
