CDM Engineering are recruiting experienced MMA Welders for a short-term contract in the marine and sea transport sector. The successful welders will work on sea fastenings and securing cable carousels for installation onto vessels, within an established hot works department.
Welders must have MMA experience to coded standards and ideally hold in-date MMA welding qualifications. Prior marine/shipyard or heavy engineering exposure is advantageous.
Location: Walker, Newcastle
Start Date: 21/09/2026
Contract: Approximately 6 weeks
Pay: £17.81 per hour PAYE
Overtime: £26.72 per hour after 39 hours
Nights: £22.10 per hour (Monday–Saturday)
Sundays: £35.62 per hour
