Job summary

A dedicated engineering recruitment service is currently looking for MMA Welders for maintenance work at a cement plant in the UK. The ideal candidate will perform MIG and MMA welding on mild steel and handle materials replacement on site. A CCNSG card is essential, and having MIG/MMA welding certificates or an IPAF card is advantageous. Previous experience in heavy engineering sectors such as cement or petrochemicals is preferred.

Qualifications

• CCNSG card required.
• MIG / MMA welding certificates are advantageous.
• IPAF card is also beneficial.
• Experience in the heavy engineering sector is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and MMA welding on mild steel plates, brackets, and channels.
• Remove and replace materials handling equipment on site.

Overview

Requirements

• Previous experience in the heavy engineering industry; Cement, Power, O&G, Petrochemical, Renewables etc.
