Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in the United Kingdom is seeking a MM/PP Business Analyst to optimize SAP ECC and S/4 HANA configurations. You will translate user requirements into scalable solutions, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive improvements across MM/PP, ECM, QM, and PM modules.

You will design test plans, coordinate training, and support deployment of new processes while maintaining data integrity and reporting.

Qualifications

• Significant MM/PP SAP experience required.
• Experience with ECM, QM, and PM SAP modules also desired.
• BA/BS degree desirable, but practical experience and expertise are essential.
• Proven experience with software systems.
• Proven understanding of database applications, system development, report writing, and SAP ERP.
• Production support and project experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of SAP best practices.
• Excellent organization and communication skills with the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
• Ability to interact with all levels and work on multiple projects simultaneously with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Strong SAP technical, configuration, and business area knowledge in MM/PP module; able to configure the module at a project level.
• Experience with ECM, QM, and PM modules is also desired.
• Translate user requests into application system solutions; analyze system user requirements to design and implement system configuration, enhancements, and modifications.
• Resolve business issues by working with various groups within and outside the company (e.g., system users, company management, consultants, software support staff).
• Work in multidisciplinary teams to define and design complex processes and procedures for configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP and related application systems.
• Define requirements for specific forms and reports.
• Design test plans, execute test scenarios, validate test data, and document test results with business functional leads.
• Coordinate end‑user training documentation and train end users as required. Perform detailed analysis of business practices, processes, and scenarios, and redesign procedures to align with best business practices and SAP functionality.
• Utilize query and reporting tools to provide flexible and timely information to system users and determine appropriate programming tools to supply information.
• Coordinate the majority of project management functions of user groups, including planning, scheduling, communication, accountability tracking, documentation, monitoring, problem solving, and technical assistance.
• May work on support and maintenance of non‑SAP applications or systems.
• Participate in the creation and enforcement of IT software standards and procedures.
• Maintain accuracy of the helpdesk database of reported problems and the knowledge base of corrective actions.
