Job summary

BSI is seeking a Platform Manager for Machine Learning Operations to own the Databricks Lakehouse Platform and MLOps services, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across our global data platforms.

This permanent, hybrid role is based in London/Milton Keynes with involvement in Kuala Lumpur, and requires coordinating incident, change, and release processes, partnering with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to operationalize ML models.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing data/analytics platforms or MLOps in enterprise.
• Hands-on Databricks workspace administration and security.
• Experience implementing MLOps across the ML lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the Databricks Lakehouse Platform and MLOps services, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and user satisfaction.
• Lead platform service management: incident, problem, change, and request processes with escalation.
• Develop and maintain standardized MLOps frameworks, tooling, and best practices for end-to-end ML lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science to operationalize ML models via CI/CD, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Ensure robust security, compliance, governance across the platform, including access management and audit readiness.
• Own the platform roadmap, drive improvements, standards, cost optimization, scalable architecture.
• Manage vendor relationships, service performance, release planning, and commercial considerations.
• Act as the main platform stakeholder interface, providing guidance, training, and enablement for data and AI solutions.
