Job summary

Cleo is seeking an exceptional ML Engineering Manager to lead the Growth team's ML efforts, building recommender systems and personalised messaging that maximise revenue and long-term value for 4M+ users. You will manage a skilled ML engineering team and collaborate with PMs, designers, data scientists and analytics to ship impactful, customer-centric ML features.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in ML/Data Science roles with leadership experience.
• Shipped ML products at scale, esp. in personalization or growth.
• Strong background in experimentation and causal reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Own the ML roadmap for Growth, prioritising high-impact projects.
• Lead design and delivery of systems that personalise prompts, offers and messaging.
• Drive production readiness from concept to deployment and monitoring.
• Recruit and grow 3–5 ML Engineers; foster a high-performing culture.
• Collaborate with Growth Marketing Engineering, Product and Analytics.
