Jane Street invites you to its Machine Learning Engineer Internship, June–September, in London. You’ll be paired with mentors and work on real-world ML projects the firm actually needs done, with guidance from full-time engineers.

You’ll access our GPU cluster and learn how textbook ML translates to noisy financial data, while exploring ML techniques used in a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate, postgraduate or PhD student with practical experience training an ML model, working on an ML library, or optimising an ML workflow.
• Top-notch programmer with a love for technology.
• Intellectually curious, collaborative, and eager to learn.
• Humble and unafraid to ask questions and admit mistakes.

Responsibilities

• Work on real-world ML projects mentored by full-time staff.
• Gain exposure to GPU cluster and ML techniques in finance.
• Participate in interview-style technical rounds during onboarding.
