Job summary

eFinancialCareers is seeking an ML Engineer to help advance the firm’s ML platform, focusing on robust training and inference infrastructure, backed by strong mathematical foundations. The role requires staying current with ML advances and delivering clear, reproducible research code.

You will work with PyTorch and may engage with JAX or TensorFlow, in a fast-paced finance environment. The ideal candidate brings curiosity and problem-solving passion, with excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining training and inference infrastructure.
• Strong mathematical background; excited by optimization, regularization, linear algebra.
• Keeping up with state-of-the-art ML, papers, hardware, or new packages.
• Ability to maintain an organized research codebase with robust, reproducible results.
• Expertise wrangling an ML framework (PyTorch preferred; knowledge of JAX or TensorFlow welcome).
• Inventive approach; willingness to question whether the right approaches and tools are used.
• Fluency in English.
